Recently our Year 13 Biology girls went to Orana Park to study human evolution and animal behaviour.An informative and interesting day out.
On Monday 6 March the Year 12 Geography class headed off in two mini vans for the annual trip to Aoraki Mt Cook National Park. The students got to explore and learn about the natural environment and cultural history of the National Park by walking various tracks, visiting the Department of Conservation Visitors Centre and the Hermitage. News from Dunedin at the South Island Secondary School Athletics. Tillie Hollyer has taken out the 1500m race that has just finished. Huge congratulations to Tillie who wins Gold in the 800m, 1500m and the 3000m. Outstanding achievement Tillie!!
A delighted Eve-Leigh Reihana-Robinson broke at 1976 shot put record at Timaru Girls' High School.
Mandy Toneycliffe's 1976 junior shot put record has finally fallen at the Timaru Girls' High School athletic sports.
Eve-Leigh Reihana-Robinson's put of 9.76m in the under 14 grade was 20cm further than Toneycliffe's 41-year-old record.
