Timaru Girls' High School have joined the Microsoft Student Select Scheme which allows Students & Staff to purchase selected Microsoft Software at very reduced and affordable prices. As an example, Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 which would normally sell for around $1,000 is available through this scheme for just $98. The criteria for qualifying for these extraordinary bargains is that the student or staff members have a TGHS email account. It is now well into the 2011 Netball season with all of TGHS teams recording some very good performances and some at the top of their grade.

Below are the term dates and statutory holidays for Timaru Girls High School Year of 2012.

New International Students Orientation:

The day is to be advised where students will be given timetables and homestay/hostel information, and will be shown around the school.

Please be aware of travel arrangements because:

At the end of Term 4, Years 9 and 10 must remain until the date given above.

Years 11, 12 and 13 must remain until after their final examination.
