TGHS joins Microsoft's Student Select Plus Scheme

Timaru Girls' High School have joined the Microsoft Student Select Scheme which allows Students & Staff to purchase selected Microsoft Software at very reduced and affordable prices. As an example, Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 which would normally sell for around $1,000 is available through this scheme for just $98. The criteria for qualifying for these extraordinary bargains is that the student or staff members have a TGHS email account. Below are the term dates and statutory holidays for Timaru Girls High School Year of 2012.

Term 1   Monday 30 January to Thursday 5 April
Term 2   Monday 23 April to Friday 29 June
Term 3   Monday 16 July to Friday 28 September
Term 4   Monday 15 October to Friday 7 December

 

New International Students Orientation:

The day is to be advised where students will be given timetables and homestay/hostel information, and will be shown around the school.

Please be aware of travel arrangements because:

At the end of Term 4, Years 9 and 10 must remain until the date given above.

Years 11, 12 and 13 must remain until after their final examination.
