Partnering with communities for diverse opportunities

TRADITIONAL VALUES & A CULTURE OF CONTINUOUS DEVELOPMENT

Timaru Girls’ High School values individual achievement, creativity and personal excellence. We gear all students toward experiencing success through a full education. One which reflects individual needs and the schools vision and values.

Better academic outcomes from single-sex education

We believe this is best achieved within a single sex environment where learning styles specific to girls, are understood and best catered for. Our learning and teaching programmes support positive outcomes for our girls.

Our curriculum offers a wide variety of achievement opportunities and we encourage participation in a diverse range of cultural, sporting and service activities.

We expect students to work hard to achieve their full potential.

Partnering with the community keeps students centered

We value the partnership between school, students, their families and the wider community towards better achievement for all.
