Haidee attended Timaru Girls from 1993-1997 and was Head of School in her final year. She was a member of our Champion cricket team in her time at Timaru Girls’, which won the National Secondary School Girl’s Championships, the Yoplait Cup, in 1996 and 1997. Haidee was also a member of the school’s 1st XI Hockey team, senior A Basketball team and played rugby and softball to mention a few. Haidee graduated with a Bachelor of Physical Education from Canterbury and taught at various high schools in Christchurch and Auckland.


Haidee was selected for the New Zealand White Ferns Women’s Cricket Team and went on to represent New Zealand in 117 One Day Internationals and two Test Matches and captained this team in her later years.

She was appointed a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit in the 2011 New Year’s Honours for services to Women’s cricket and she was also the Head Coach of the White Fern’s Women’s Cricket team.
